HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Puducherry Prevention of Anti-social Activities Act, 2008 (Act No. 10 of 2010), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, having been satisfied that the circumstances prevailing in the Union territory of Puducherry are likely to create a tense law and order situation, and it is necessary so to do hereby directs the District Magistrate, Puducherry and Karaikal shall also exercise the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act in respect of their jurisdiction for a further period of six months from 14-09-2024.

CHIEF SECRETARIAT (HOUSING): NOTIFICATION: A State Level Heritage Conservation and Advisory Committee (SLHCAC) was constituted vide G.O. Ms. No. 19/2019-Hg., dated 19-08-2019 of the Chief Secretariat (Housing), Puducherry, in order to tender advise to the Government in matters relating to conserve/preserve the Heritage Buildings in the Union territory of Puducherry.

LABOUR DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Revision of minimum rates of wages payable to the employees, employed in Shops and Establishments in the Union territory of Puducherry, was published as required under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act 11 of 1948) in Notification issued by the Labour Department vide G.O. Ms. No. 27/AIL/Lab./G/2023, dated 14-08-2023.

OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER (EXCISE): NOTICE OF SALE OF LAND: It is hereby notified that the undermentioned land will be sold by public auction for arrears of revenue under the provisions of the Pondicherry Revenue Recovery Act of 1970, unless the defaulter or other persons acting on his behalf, or claiming an interest in the land, tenders the full amount of the arrears of revenue, with interest and other charges, before sunset on the day previous to that appointed for the sale.

PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY, PUDUCHERRY: NOTIFICATION: The Government of Puducherry has approved the change of land use in respect of the below mentioned lands in the Puducherry Planning Area, Puducherry, from the present land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Planning Area – 2036 to various uses vide G.O. Ms. No. 21/2024-Hg., dated 12-09-2024 of the Chief Secretariat (Housing), Government of Puducherry.
