FINANCE DEPARTMENT (WAYS AND MEANS): NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor as Administrator of the Union territory of Puducherry hereby notifies the sale of Puducherry Government Stock (Securities) of 13 year tenure for an aggregate amount of ` 300 crore (Rupees three hundred crore only).

TRANSPORT SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to extend the time-limit up to 29-02-2024, for the payment of Motor Vehicle Tax without penalty for the 4th Quarter of the Financial Year 2023-2024, i.e., from 01-01-2024 to 31-03-2024, in respect of Transport Vehicles used or kept for use in the Union territory of Puducherry.

LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, hereby allots February 22, 2024 as the day on which the statement showing the Supplementary Demands for Grants for the year 2023-2024 shall be presented to the Legislative Assembly.

HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under column (2) of the Table in the Annexure as Executive Magistrates with effect from the date of the Notification, in respect of the area mentioned against the corresponding entry under column (4) of the said Table and confers on them all the powers of an Executive

DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is hereby pleased to appoint the following Officers as Excise Inspectors in their respective regions of this Union territory of Puducherry to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Excise Inspectors under the said Act with effect from the date of implementation of the Model Code of Conduct and up to the date of completion of Election process in connection with the forthcoming General Elections to the Lok Sabha-2024.
