THE DISTRICT ELECTION OFFICER, KARAIKAL: NOTIFICATION: The Election Commission of India has announced the dates for General Elections to Parliamentary Constituencies on 16-03-2024. The Election Commission of India has issued several instructions for monitoring expenditure during the elections as a part of curbing the use of money power during elections. Hence, in order to assess the election expenditure of contesting candidates, in respect of the various items commonly used in election campaign, the rates have been finalized by the District Election Officer, Karaikal, as given in the Annexure.
