DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL SUPPLIES AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to appoint Dr. S. Sundaravadivelu, s/o. P. PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY, PUDUCHERRY: NOTIFICATION: The Government of Puducherry has approved the change of land use in respect of the below mentioned lands in the Puducherry Planning Area, Puducherry, from the present land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Planning Area – 2036 to various uses vide G.O. Ms. No. 2/2024-Hg., dated 15-03-2024 of the Chief Secretariat (Housing), Government of Puducherry.

HIGHER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION: NOTIFICATION: The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry is pleased to constitute the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) as indicated below for admission of candidates to various Higher Education Courses and related works in Government of Puducherry for the Academic Year 2024-25.

SUBDIVISIONAL MAGISTRATE AT KARAIKAL: NOTIFICATION: Whereas, it has been submitted by the Station House Officer, T.R.Pattinam Police Station, Karaikal, that the Counter Petitioners 1 and 2 namely, Ezhilarasi @ Meera (41), daughter of Dharmalingam and Vive @ Vikraman (40), son of Dhanapal residing at Plot Nos. 54 and 55, V Cross Extension, Nethaji Nagar, Karaikal, are notorious rowdy elements who are the perennial source of threat to the community and the Station House Officer has therefore, laid information under section 144 of Cr.P.C.

DEPUTY COMMISSIONER (EXCISE), PUDUCHERRY: NOTIFICATION: Puducherry Excise Rules, 1970, the right of retail vend of Toddy and Arrack for the lease year 2024-25 in respect of the shops located in the regions of Puducherry and Karaikal of the Union territory of Puducherry for the lease year period from 01-07-2024 to 30-06-2025 renewable for two subsequent lease years which may likely to be extended or reduced as and when the Government may thinks fit shall be disposed off by ‘‘Auction’’ through online.

PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY, PUDUCHERRY: NOTIFICATION: As per the provisions contained in the G.O. Ms. No.11/2022-Hg., Puducherry, dated 15-12-2022 for change of Land use, the Puducherry Planning Authority has received requests for change of Land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Planning Area-2036 in respect of certain lands (as listed). The requests have been recommended by the Puducherry Town & Country Planning Board and concurred to call for objections/suggestions from the public, regarding the following proposed Land use changes.

DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT: NOTIFICATION: Government of Puducherry hereby constitutes an Independent multi-disciplinary “Expert Group” with the following Members to evaluate the Social Impact Assessment (SIA) report submitted by the Social Impact Assessment Team, in connection with acquisition of lands at 37-Vanjoor Revenue Village, Karaikal District, for the public purpose viz., “Provision of Railway line connectivity between Northern end of the Karaikal Port and Existing Nagore – Karaikal Broad Gauge (BG) Railway line at Vanjoor, Karaikal District”.
