LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION:Thiru N. Rangasamy, Member of Puducherry Legislative Assembly elected from two Assembly Constituencies namely, (i) 04-Mangalam Assembly Constituency and (ii) 09-Thattanchavady Assembly Constituency, has resigned one of his seats i.e., his seat from 09-Thattanchavady Assembly Constituency in the Puducherry Legislative Assembly and his resignation has been accepted by the Hon’ble Speaker pro tem, with effect from the afternoon of 17th May, 2026 and as such the said Constituency has been lying vacant since the afternoon of the 17th May, 2026.
