THE DISTRICT MAGISTRATE AT KARAIKAL: NOTIFICATION: PROCLAMATION UNDER SECTION 8(2)(a) OF THE PUDUCHERRY PREVENTION OF ANTI-SOCIAL ACTIVITIES ACT, 2008 AND UNDER SECTION 84 OF BNSS, 2023 REQUIRING THE APPEARANCE OF ABSCONDING PERSON UNDER PUDUCHERRY PREVENTION OF ANTI-SOCIAL ACTIVITIES ACT, 2008.

MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS: NOTIFICATION: Notices were issued to the following 3865 Societies (Refer: Annexure–1) directing them to submit annual statutory returns with the Registrar. Since, these Societies have failed to comply and have been defaulting since, incorporation, defunct action, under section 22 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and Societies Registration (Pondicherry Amendment) Act, 1969, has been taken and the Societies are treated as having become defunct and dissolved.

MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS: NOTIFICATION: The President is pleased to appoint, on the advice of the Chief Minister,— 1. Shri P. Rajavelu 2. Shri V. P. Sivakolundhu, 3. Shri G.N.S. Rajasekaran as Ministers in the Council of Ministers for the Union territory of Puducherry, with effect from the date they are sworn in.

OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER (EXCISE): NOTIFICATION: Puducherry Excise Rules, 1970, the right of retail vend of toddy and arrack for the lease year 2026-27 in respect of the shops located in the region of Puducherry and Karaikal of the Union territory of Puducherry and whose licences are not renewed for the lease year period from 01-07-2026 to 30-06-2027 under rule 156-A of the Puducherry Excise Rules, 1970.

DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry hereby re-constitutes the State Executive Committee to carry out the various functions assigned to it under the said Act and the Disaster Management Amendment Act, 2025, consisting of the following members as specified in sub-section (2) of section 20 of the said Act.

ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: A.S.P.S. Ravi Prakash while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Puducherry, shall not hold any additional charge whatsoever under the Government of Puducherry except that he should be designated Secretary to the Government in charge of Election Department in the State Secretariat.

HIGHER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION: NOTIFICATION: The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, is pleased to constitute the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) as indicated below for the admission of candidates to various Higher Education courses and related works in the Government of Puducherry for the Academic Year 2026-27.
