INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT (POWER) DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-clause (iv) of clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to declare the services in the Electricity Department of the Government of Puducherry as a “Public Utility Service” for a further period of 6 (six) months from 09-08-2026 to 08-02-2027 in the exigencies of public interest.

DISTRICT MAGISTRATE AT PUDUCHERRY: ORDER: District Magistrate, Puducherry, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by virtue under section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, with a view to ensure tightened security during the visit of the Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs to Puducherry on 08-08-2026 and 09-08-2026, declare the areas comprising Oulgaret Municpality, as “No Fly Zone” and do hereby prohibit the flying of any kind of aviation devices including UAV, drones, etc., on 08th August, 2026 and 09th August, 2026.

PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY: NOTIFICATION: The Government of Puducherry has approved the change of land use in respect of the below mentioned lands in the Puducherry Planning Area, Puducherry, from the present land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry P lanning Area – 2036 to var ious uses, vide G.O. Ms. No. 21/202 4-Hg., dated 10-12-2024 of the Chief Secretariat (Housing), Government of Puducherry.

PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY, PUDUCHERRY: NOTIFICATION: The Town and Country Planning Board, Puducherry, in its meeting held on 02-03-2026 has approved the change of land use in respect of the below mentioned lands in the Puducherry Planning Area, Puducherry, from the present land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Planning Area-2036, to various uses, as per G.O. CONFIDENTIAL AND CABINET DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, on the recommendations of the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras, has issued Notification appointing the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Puducherry as the Special Judge for Puducherry, Mahe and Yanam.

LABOUR DEPARTMENT: ORDER: In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 37 of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961), the Central Government has published the revised rate of stipend to be paid to the Apprentices. The same was republished in the Official Gazette of Government of Union territory of Puducherry vide No. 17 of Part-I of Extraordinary Gazette, dated 12-02-2026. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section 1 (i) of section 23 of the said Act, to implement the Scheme in the Union territory of Puducherry as State Apprenticeship Adviser.

DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT: DECLARATION: WHEREAS, the Government having been satisfied that an extent of 00.47.00 H.A.C. of land at 35- Oulgaret Revenue Village, Oulgaret Taluk, Puducherry District is required for the public purpose viz., "Construction of Additional class rooms for Thillaiyadi Valliammai Govt. High School, Kathirkamam, Puducherry".
