DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND ANIMAL WELFARE: NOTIFICATION: Pondicherry State Veterinary Council Rules, 1988, maintenance of Register of Veterinary Practitioners as per sub-section (4) of section 23 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), the following additions to the State Veterinary Register have been made for those who have been enrolled in the Pondicherry State Veterinary Register during the period from 01-04-2022 to 31-03-2023.

PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY: NOTIFICATION: Puducherry, dated 15-12-2022 for change of land use, the Puducherry Planning Authority has received requests for change of land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Planning Area-2036, in respect of certain lands (as listed below).

PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY: NOTIFICATION: The Government of Puducherry has approved the change of land use in respect of the below mentioned lands in the Puducherry Planning Area, Puducherry, from the present land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Planning Area - 2036 to various uses, vide G.O. Ms. No. 12/2023-Hg, dated 05-10-2023 of the Chief Secretariat (Housing), Government of Puducherry.

Hon’ble High Court of Madras, Chairperson, Fee Committee, Puducherry, towards fixation of fees for the Postgraduate Medical (Clinical/Non-Clinical)/Postgraduate Dental (Clinical/Para-Clinical)/MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. (Nursing) courses in unaided Private Self Financing Medical, Dental and Paramedical Nursing Colleges of Union territory of Puducherry.

COMMERCIAL TAXES SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Puducherry Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2023 (Act No. 4 of 2023), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the 1st day of October, 2023, as the date on which the provisions of sections 2 to 27 (except sections 16 to 21) of the said Act shall come into force.

LOCAL ADMINISTRATION SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: In order to create awareness among the general public, the Department shall make a wide publicity through electronic and print media about the requirement of Aadhaar for registration of Births/Deaths and they may be advised to get themselves enrolled in the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centres available in their areas, in case, they are not already enrolled.

CONFIDENTIAL AND CABINET DEPARTMENT: ORDER: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, on the recommendations of the High Court of Madras, is pleased to appoint Thiru T. Chandrasekaran, Chief Judge/Principal District and Sessions Judge, Puducherry, as Special Judge for Puducherry, Mahe and Yanam regions of Union territory of Puducherry.

YANAM PLANNING AUTHORITY: PUBLIC NOTICE: Puducherry Town and Country Planning Act, 1969 (No. 13 of 1970), read with sub-rule (3) of Rule 40 of the Puducherry Town and Country Planning Rules, 1974, and with the Consent of the Government, vide O.M. No. 1-4/CS(Hg)/2013, dated 18-10-2023, notice is hereby given that a Comprehensive Development Plan, 2041 for the Yanam Planning Area has been prepared for the entire Yanam region of 30.00 sq.kms.

HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to declare the “Fire Brigade Service” of the Government of Puducherry, as a “Public Utility Service” for a further period of six months from 22nd October, 2023 to 21st April, 2024 in the exigencies of public interest.

TRANSPORT SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to extend the time-limit up to 30-11-2023 for the payment of
Motor Vehicle Tax (without penalty) for the 3rd Quarter of the Financial Year 2023-2024, i.e., from 01-10-2023 to 31-12-2023, in respect of Transport Vehicles used or kept for use in the Union territory of Puducherry.
