COMMERCIAL TAXES SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, Government of Puducherry, issued vide G.O. Ms. No. 9, dated 1st April, 2020, published in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary Part-II, No. 58, dated 1st April, 2020.

HEALTH SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION:The Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry is pleased to enhance the age of superannuation of Dental Surgeons in the Department of Health and Family Welfare Services, Puducherry, from 60 years to 65 years on par with the Dental Doctors in the Departments of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

CHIEF SECRETARIAT (HEALTH): NOTIFICATION: Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor, Government of Puducherry, is pleased to approve the constitution of the State Mental Health Authority for the Union territory of Puducherry, for the purpose of the Mental Health Care Act, 2017.

HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: National Security Act, 1980 (Central Act 65 of 1980), directing that the District Magistrate, Puducherry and Karaikal, may also, if satisfied, as provided in sub-section (2) of the said section, exercise the powers conferred by the said sub-section for a period of three months from 28th April, 2023 vide Home Department’s Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 20 , dated 23rd May, 2023.

CHIEF SECRETARIAT (AGRICULTURE): NOTIFICATION: Revised Operational Guidelines of the “Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana” (PMFBY), read with the communication under No. 13015/02/2015-Credit-II, dated 24th March 2020 of the Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi.

TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby conveyed for hiring of Motor Vehicles by the Puducherry Tourism Development Corporation Limited (PTDC) [a Government of Puducherry Undertaking], Puducherry, as per the approved rates, enclosed in the Annexure–I, for use by various Government Departments/Corporations/Boards, etc., in the Union Territory for the period from 01-12-2022 to 02-05-2023. Subject to the conditions as indicated in the Annexure-II, as appended to this Order.

PUDUCHERRY ROAD TRANSPORT CORPORATION LIMITED: NOTIFICATION: DRAFT GUIDELINES FOR PUNISHMENT TO BE AWARDED IN DISCIPLINARY CASES.

LAW DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: The 21st Law Commission of India has examined the subject on ‘Uniform Civil Code’ and issued the consultation paper on “Reforms of Family Law” on 31-08-2018 which is made available in the Law Department’s website at https://law.py.gov.in/. Presently, the 22nd Law Commission has taken up the matter for consideration and have solicited views and ideas of the stakeholders on it.

CHIEF SECRETARIAT (HEALTH): NOTIFICATION: Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby accorded to compound fines and penalties by the Department of Food Safety, Puducherry, as per section 69 of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 to compound the offence committed by the Food Business Operators classified in Reg. 1.2.1 (4), in the Union territory of Puducherry.
