CHIEF SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry is hereby pleased to reconstitute the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) that was constituted vide G.O. TRANSPORT SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to approve the constitution of “State Level Steering Committee” in the road transport sector in the Union territory of Puducherry, with the following Officers as Members with immediate effect.

HOME DEPARTMENT: ORDER: Thiru P. Kannan, former Speaker of Legislative Assembly, Minister and Member of Parliament, Puducherry, State Mourning shall be observed for three days with effect from 06-11-2023 to 08-11-2023 and there shall be no official entertainment during the period of State Mourning.

DISTRICT MAGISTRATE AT PUDUCHERRY: ORDER: District Magistrate of Puducherry, that due to major fire incident occurred in the factory unit of the Solara Active Pharma Sciences Limited at Kalapet, Puducherry, on the night of 04-11-2023 resulting in severe injury of around 15 workers and it is reported that many of them were admitted in Hospitals.

HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: National Security Act, 1980 (Central Act 65 of 1980), the Government of Puducherry, hereby extends the powers
conferred in the said sub-section for a further period of 3 months from 28th October, 2023.

DISTRICT MAGISTRATE AT PUDUCHERRY: EXTENSION OF ORDER: In continuation to the Office Order No. 0711/DM/RO/D2/2023, dated 07-11-2023 and keeping in view of continuing further law and order situation at Kalapet Revenue Village of Oulgaret Taluk, Puducherry, the prohibitory order passed earlier under section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code is hereby extended up to 30th November, 2023.
