CHIEF SECRETARIAT (ENVIRONMENT): NOTIFICATION: The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), in its report published in January 2025, revised the methodology for classification of Industrial Sectors into Red, Orange, Green, White and Blue categories, with the objective of streamlining the Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) processes across all States and Union Territories.

The requests have been recommended by the Puducherry Town and Country Planning Board in its 71st meeting and concurred to call for objections / suggestions from the public regarding the following proposed Land use changes.

ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Notifications of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, regarding Appointment of Electoral Registration Officer, Assembly Constituency – ERO (AC); Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, Assembly Constituency – AERO (AC) of Puducherry Union Territory is republished for information of the public.

TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Sanction of the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby accorded for extension of period of contract for hiring of Private Motor Vehicles for the use of Government Departments / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies / Societies including Co-operative Societies in Puducherry and Karaikal regions, for a further period of 6 (six) months.

ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Election Commission hereby appoints Ms. Garima Jain, Joint Secretary, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Parliament House, New Delhi and Shri Vijay Kumar, Director, Rajya Sabha Secretariat, Parliament House, New Delhi to be the Assistant Returning Officers to assist the Returning Officer for the Vice-Presidential Election, 2025 in discharge of his official functions.

HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: National Security Act, 1980 (Central Act 65 of 1980), directing that the District Magistrate, Puducherry and Karaikal, Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, having regard to the circumstances prevailing in the Union territory of Puducherry, is satisfied that it is necessary to extend the said period by 3 (three) months from 28th July, 2025.

PUDUCHERRY PLANNING AUTHORITY, PUDUCHERRY: NOTIFICATION: As per the provisions contained in the G.O. Ms. No. 11/2022-Hg., Puducherry, dated 15-12-2022 for change of Land use, the Puducherry Planning Authority has received requests for change of Land use in the notified Comprehensive Development Plan for Puducherry Planning Area-2036 (CDP) in respect of certain lands (as listed below). The requests have been recommended by the Puducherry Town and Country Planning Board in its 72nd meeting and concurred to call for objections / suggestions from the public regarding the following proposed Land use changes.

ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Election Commission of India hereby designates, in consultation with the Government of Puducherry, the Officers of Government specified in column (2) , as the Returning Officer of the Assembly Constituency in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
