LABOUR DEPARTMENT: ORDER: In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (37 of 2020), the Central Government hereby appoints the 21st day of November, 2025 as the date on which the provisions of the said Code, shall come into force.

CHIEF SECRETARIAT (HEALTH): NOTIFICATION: In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 30 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (Central Act 34 of 2006), the Commissioner of Food Safety, Union territory of Puducherry, having taken note of the interest of public health, hereby prohibits production, storage distribution or sale of Colour Cotton Candy or Candy Floss or Hard Candy or any food items containing ‘Rhodamine – B’ in the Union territory of Puducherry, for a further period of one year commencing from 5th November, 2025.
