LOCAL ADMINISTRATION SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras, in the W.P. Nos. 21067, 21117 and 21708 of 2021, in supersession of the notification No. 1-4/M&P/Res./2021-22, dated 23rd August 2021 and in pursuance of rule 3 of Puducherry Municipalities (Allotment and Rotation of Reserved Seats and Offices) Rules, 1996, the State Election Commission hereby issues the Notification indicating the reservation and allotment of seats in respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Caste Women, General Women and General Categories in 5 (Five) Municipalities in the Union territory of Puducherry.

LOCAL ADMINISTRATION SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: High Court of Judicature at Madras, in the W.P. Nos. 21067, 21117 and 21708 of 2021, in supersession of the notification No. 1-4/M&P/Res/2021-22, dated 23rd August 2021 and in pursuance of rule 3 of Puducherry Village and Commune Panchayats (Allotment and Rotation of Reserved Seats and Offices) Rules, 1996, the State Election Commission hereby issues the Notification indicating the reservation and allotment of seats in respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Caste Women, General Women and General Categories in Panchayats at all levels in the Union territory of Puducherry.

LOCAL ADMINISTRATION SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under column (2) of the Table in the Annexure as "Special Executive Magistrates" with effect from the date of enforcement of Model Code of Conduct and up to the date of completion of election process in connection with the Civic Elections, 2021 to Karaikal Municipality.

HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: Backward Classes and the Scheduled Tribes in Annexures III and IV in the Delimitation of Municipal Wards published vide G.O. Ms. No. 49/LAS/2019, Puducherry, dated 7th March, 2019 stands repealed to the extent of removing the portions for the Backward Classes and the Scheduled Tribes provided therein including the NB part mentioned thereunder.
