COMMERCIAL TAXES SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION:Puducherry Value Added Tax Act, 2007 (Act No. 9 of 2007) and all other powers enabling in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in public interest, is pleased to reduce and fix the rate of tax payable.

ADI DRAVIDAR WELFARE AND SCHEDULED TRIBES WELFARE: NOTIFICATION: The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the following further Amendments to the “Rules for the Grant of Retention Scholarship to Scheduled Caste Girls Students, 1992”, notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 32/92-Wel (SCW-II), dated 15-09-1992 of the Welfare Secretariat and published in the Gazette of Puducherry.

ADI DRAVIDAR WELFARE AND SCHEDULED TRIBES WELFARE: NOTIFICATION: The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby pleased to enhance the quantum of Pre-matric Scholarship to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes students studying from VI Std. to X Std. in Government Schools and Government recognized Private Schools under the Scheme of “Award of Pre-Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes students studying from VI Std. to X Std. in Government Schools and Government recognized Private Schools in the Union territory of Puducherry.

DIRECTORATE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: NOTIFICATION: The Directorate of Information Technology, Puducherry may revise the user charges from time to time. The user charges shall be applicable for every District in the Union territory of Puducherry uniformly. A citizen can avail any of the Government to Citizen (G2C) services as included in the CSC Scheme.

HOME DEPARTMENT: NOTIFICATION: The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to formulate the Policy for payment of compensation on account of death of prisoners confined in the Jails in the Union territory of Puducherry.

DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT: ORDER: The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Puducherry, is entrusted with the issuance of various Certificates, viz., Caste/Community, Residence/Nativity, Income, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Certificates, etc., to the Applicants who require the same to avail various benefits from the Government, including reservation in Educational Institutions and employment in various Government Departments/Institutions and Public Sector Undertakings.

DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT: ORDER: The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Puducherry, is entrusted with the issuance of various Certificates, viz., Caste/Community, Residence/Nativity, Income, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Certificates, etc., to the Applicants who require the same to avail various benefits from the Government.

ADI DRAVIDAR WELFARE AND SCHEDULED TRIBES WELFARE: NOTIFICATION: Rules for implementation of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Yatra Scheme to visit the places connected with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s life in India, 2025.

ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS WING: NOTIFICATION: The “Scheme for Chief Minister’s Award For Excellence in Public Administration” is instituted by the Government of Puducherry to recognize and reward innovative and extraordinary work done by a team of officials under the Government of Puducherry including Offices under Public Sector Undertakings, Local Bodies, Autonomous Bodies, etc.

LOCAL ADMINISTRATION SECRETARIAT: NOTIFICATION: The Government of Puducherry hereby notifies the Operation and Maintenance Policy of Water Supply in the Union territory of Puducherry (Rural Areas) maintained by the Local Bodies of Union territory of Puducherry, as detailed in the Annexure to this Notification.
