INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT (POWER) DEPARTMENT: ORDER: The Electricity Department has stated vide I.D. Note No. 1165/ED/ SE/HoD/EHV/PLCC & Lines/F.RoW/2017-2018, dated 04-04-2018 of the Superintending Engineer-cum-Head of Department, Electricity Department, Puducherry, under the powers conferred in Electricity Act, 2003 and Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, compensation is being paid only for the crop damages while erection of towers and stringing of transmission lines.
